None of Lithgow Hotel’s batsmen could improve much on their starts as the team fell for 127 all out. Lenny Redman (33) and Clint Rochester (27no) tried to get the score higher at the tailend but it wasn’t enough as Hampton easily went past the score.

Hampton’s Nick Miller bagged himself a fifer to end with the figures of 5/35 off 8.
Hampton quickly went about their work but lost five wickets on the way to victory.
Opener Brett Campbell top-scored with 43 with good support from Matt White (38).
Lithgow Hotel’s Jon Cronin finished with 2/7.
Valley v la salle
It was a low-scoring affair in the other first grade match between La Salle and Valley.
La Salle only managed 81 in its innings with Valley’s Warren Stevens (4/7 off 8 overs including 4 maidens) ripping out the middle order and killing the run rate. He was well supported by Juzen Takahira (4/24).
Openers R Wheeler (33) A Lewis (30) did get the Hornets off to a reasonable start but then it was single figures or zero after that for the rest of the batting order.
Warren Stevens continued his good form when sent into bat for Valley and compiled 26 not out in the total of 4/85.
La Salle’s Tom Bannon did his best to keep his side in the game finishing with the figures of 2/22 off 8 overs.
