THE start of the Summer Friday Race Nights for Lithgow Swimming Club have seen an increase in the number of swimmers competing every week, with the highest regular turnout in a number of years. There was a record number for over 10 years on Friday November 18 with 53 competitors.

The fantastic new outdoor pool has helped the swimmers achieve so terrific times, with new PBs achieved every week.
The facilities are fantastic and the swimmers are really excited to swim in such a world class facility.
There have also been a number of swimmers who have swum under 30 seconds in the 50m Freestyle: Blake Holmes, Griffin Houston, Joss Luka, Brody McManus and Mackenzie Stewart.
With so many PBs being achieved by all swimmers every week, choosing the KIA swimmer of the week and the Swimstar of the week has been a difficult task.
