Through some hot conditions, 12 teams of 6 people each battled it out in games of 4’s, two triples games and 1 pairs battle.
Lithgow Workies women’s bowlers ended up coming out on top.
Lawson came in close behind in second place, followed on the podium by Lithgow City who came in third.
All teams enjoyed refreshments and something to eat after, and raffles after the games were drawn out by Sue Metcalf and announced by President of Lithgow Workmen’s Club women’s bowlers Leslie Townsend.
Those who played would like to thank Ray Warren and Don Milligan for their help in umpiring, and anyone who had a hand in organising the day.
Well done to all who played and congratulations to the Workies women for taking out the day.
