The package will invest a minimum $57 million, of the $190 million Jobs for NSW Fund to support entrepreneurs who can create regional jobs growth.
The Regional Jobs Now package provides five different financial products aimed at meeting the needs of businesses at different stages of their development.
Regional businesses are encouraged to communicate what they need and are then provided help to apply for the most suitable Regional Jobs Now product.
Applications will be assessed against all products, so if a business is not eligible for one product it may be eligible for another.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Regional Solutions financial support product are open now and close on 9 December 2016.

Bright Sparks
A bright spark is someone we refer to as having great ideas.
Through a partnership with the NSW Government, Skillset Bathurst is offering bright sparks in the Central West an opportunity to share in $120,000 for innovation that leads to energy savings through their ‘Spark Tank’ competition.
I’d like to throw the challenge out to school students, indigenous groups, residents, businesses and community leaders in the Central West to get involved and pitch their best ideas.
Spark Tank will facilitate workshops for participants to brainstorm energy saving ideas for three categories: home, business and community.
One winning project from each category will receive start-up funding in 2017 from a prize pool of $40,000.

Remembrance Day
At 11am on 11 November 1918 the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare.
The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month has since gained special significance in remembering those that paid the ultimate sacrifice at war for the freedom and lives we enjoy today.
Show your support and respect to the soldiers and families of war, both past and present by purchasing a poppy this Friday and attending one of many ceremonies held across the electorate.
Funds from the sale of poppy’s assist current and former serving members serving members of the Australian and Allied defence forces and their dependents when in need with a range of financial and non-financial support services.
Remember in November.
Seniors Concert
Each year the NSW Government thanks seniors for their ongoing contribution to our communities with the staging of seniors Christmas Concerts across regional NSW.
This year’s concert ‘Next Stop…..Christmas’ will be held at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) on Monday 21 November.
I encourage all locals who are over 60 to book their complimentary tickets to enjoy a variety of entertainment, free for seniors, Aboriginal people over 50 and people with life-long disabilities.
You can reserve your tickets by visiting BMEC Bathurst, phone (02) 63336161 or visit www.nswseniorsweek.com.au
