HOTSHOTS Hockey Club president Paul Gibbons has thanked all players, families and supporters for the 2016 season. The men’s team was just one win away from the B-Grade Grand Final but they lost 4 – 3. The women’s team had a great year: they made the C-Grade Grand Final against Zig Zag Blue and lost 2 – 1 in extra time which they did without reserves.

Executives Choice Dayne Gilson Memorial Award: Leon Rust. Dayne was a member of Hotshots who unfortunately passed away at a young age. This award in his name is for commitment on and off the field and never giving up.
Ken (Burger) Kearins Memorial Trophy Clubman of the Year: Tanya Merrick. Ken was instrumental as a committee member until he passed away in a car accident. Tanya received this award for her dedication to the club.
