Best and Fairest awards went to the OzTag side’s Tiana Anderson, U18’s Ben Allan and Premier Grade’s Mitch Case.
Player’s Player awards went to the the OzTag side’s Hanna Healey, U18’s Riley Allan and Premier Grade’s Jono Van-Veen.
The Digger Corney Memorial Award for highest point scorer during the regular season went to Dylan Glynn.
The President’s Award, given to a player in any grade who shows a willingness to learn and develop his skills, went to Nick Miller.
Rookie of the Year went to Connor Legge.
The Val Northey Trophy for Most Improved went to Sam Rushworth.
The Roy Thompson Memorial Clubperson of the Year award went to John Legge, and the Workies Wolves Player of the Year award for 2016 was given to Mitch Case.
The Player of the Year award is now dedicated in the memory of Workies club stalwart Brian “Boris” Morris for his devotion to the Wolves.
The night was one of reflection for all Wolves teams but celebration for the U18s team’s win at the grand final.
The Lithgow Mercury congratulates the Workies Wolves for a great year, and looks forward to seeing them on the field next season.
