The aim of the campaign is to highlight the problem of graffiti and encourage people to volunteer their time to remove and prevent graffiti. The event is run by Graffiti Removal Australia Inc. with support from local councils and a wide range of community organisations.
Lithgow is fortunate that graffiti is not the problem it is in many other areas.
Council staff act very quickly to remove graffiti but to do so they need the help of the community in reporting it.
To mark Graffiti Removal Day Lithgow City Council would like to ask the community to let them know as soon as possible on 6354999 so that their staff can respond.
