The Sydney Thunder, reigning Big Bash League (BBL) champions, will play at Orange’s Wade Park this summer and they will bring their full squad.
That means the likes of 59-Test veteran Shane Watson and Australian cricket wunderkind Pat Cummins.
The Thunder will take on the Hong Kong national side in two Twenty20 trial games at Wade Park on Sunday, December 11 as part of their six-match practice match schedule leading into the sixth edition of the BBL.
“I’m hoping all sporting fans will come and enjoy the game, not just from Orange but from the entire central west,” Hamling enthused.
The Thunder released the squad they expect to show off at Wade Park, including Watson, Cummins, Gurinder Sandhu, teen prodigy Jason Sangha, Clint McKay and Usman Khawaja.
