Local community organisations are encouraged to apply for funding under Round 2 of Council’s 2016/17 Financial Assistance Program as of Monday October 3 2016.
The program offers grants of generally up to $3,000 to community organisations to help them with local projects and activities that demonstrate a broad community benefit.
Each year Council allocates funding to a number of worthwhile community groups for programs, services and events that strengthen and enrich our community and increase community participation.
Funding in the previous round assisted a wide range of successful applicants improve events, facilities and equipment for the community.
Interested groups and individuals are advised that applications for Round 2 close on 31 October 2016.
All requests for Financial Assistance must be on the official Financial Assistance Application Form.
Application forms and guidelines can be obtained by visiting Council’s website at www.council.lithgow.com.
Alternatively, forms can be collected from Council’s Administration Centre and Library branches in Lithgow, Wallerawang and Portland.
Forms are also available by post, simply contact Council to arrange one.
