The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) has not released a decision on the the hearing that could see re-elected councillor Martin Ticehurst disqualified for five years.
NCAT were tight-lipped when contacted on when the decision would be made. A spokesperson said it could be any day that the decision will be published on the NSW Caselaw website.
At the moment its status is reserved decision, which NCAT would not elaborate on.
The decision on Cr Ticehurst was expected to be made well ahead of the council elections but has dragged on for around 13 weeks and has put ratepayers on notice that a large chunk of money may be spent on a by-election.
He could become the first councillor to be disqualified under the new councillor conduct changes introduced by the NSW Government.
