On Sunday the young Wolves will head to Carrington Park in Bathurst to contest the qualifying final against the Mudgee Dragons.
Lithgow’s second place on the ladder will give the team a few bites at a spot in the grand final.
Mudgee is the only team to beat the Wolves this season but that was in an earlier home game for Lithgow.
Their last match up was in Mudgee where the Wolves got their revenge with a close 26-18 win.
Coach Graeme Osborne is quietly confident going into the game with a full teamsheet.
“The team has no injury concerns.
“We have got the same 18-man squad we started the year with.”
Osborne said it was good to blow the cobwebs out against Blayney last weekend despite the Wolves having to come from behind to claw their way to an 8-all draw.
“We hadn’t played for three weeks and the ground was pretty well chopped up.”
