While Bathurst City will not be part of this year’s finals series when it gets underway on the last weekend of August, Zig Zag’s place in the top four is under threat.
Zig Zag are four points ahead of Orange Wanderers and Parkes United, so must keep winning to maintain that buffer.
“We’ve got nothing to lose, that is the difference, the pressure is on them, they are playing for a semi-finals spot,” City’s Mal Willott said of Zig Zag.
“For some reason we don’t go too bad against them, I don’t know why that is, but we play alright against them.
“As far as I know, everyone is in this week. We are starting to get some options with our players now, so hopefully the guys can stick together and build on that towards next year.”
Saturday’s match between City and Zig Zag will get underway at 1.50pm in Lithgow.
