Parents are no doubt also happy for kids to be getting back into the swing of things, expending some of their energy on the sporting field.
Junior rugby league will be back, with the Stormers playing at home across a range of divisions.
Games will start at 11am, so make sure you head down to support the juniors and enjoy a great morning of league – but don’t forget to pack an umbrella, just in case.
Portland/Storm Under 10s will head to Mudgee to take on the Dragons.
Wallerawang Under 10s will also hit the road as they travel Bathurst for their match.
After Saturday’s games, only two more rounds of competition remain for the 2016 competition.

Storm/Portland 10 – tenth
Wallerawang 10 – ninth
Storm Under 11 – third
Storm Under 12 – ninth
