While dogs end up at the pound for a number of reasons, it doesn’t mean their story ends there.
Take a look at these two staffies currently waiting for new owners and stop for a moment to think if one could start a new life as part of your family.
The first staffie has a black patch over her left eye and is 18 months old. She’s very loving and also highly energetic.
The second, though not sporting a eye patch like her friend is of a similar temperament and just as playful.
Both dogs would make a great addition to any family.
Dogs can be inspected at the shelter from 3pm weekdays or by arrangements via the council’s main office in Mort Street.
Just call 6354 9999 to start the process of welcoming a new member to the family.
All dogs are checked for health and temperament before release.
