Hall was one of the early golfers out and had the worst of the conditions, which made his 70 nett all the more remarkable. There were 38 golfers that braved the cold with Brian Bourke runner-up to Hall in A-grade when he finished with 78 nett on a countback.
In B-grade, Brett Roach was best with 72 nett with Mick Bennett also playing well for his 73 nett. The C-graders, struggled on the tough course with Alex Dengate best with 79 nett pushing Steve Lewicki to second.
Best scratch scores were: A-grade, Hall 73; B-grade Roach 97 on a countback and C-grade Lewicki 101. The monthly medals sponsored by Ron Evans Painting were won by Hall and Roach in their respective grades and Lewicki and Dengate will play off next month for the C-grade medal.
