PORTLAND Central School was recently proud to honour two students from both Primary and Secondary School who were selected to participate in the Indigenous e-literacy program.
Connor McCann and Noah Nugent were thrilled to be selected for participation in this exciting initiative.
The program is designed to improve the students’ reading ability using a tablet and e-books provided through the program.
This wonderful initiative encourages students to improve their reading ability through the support from this program, their school and their families.
After 12 weeks having improved their reading ability, these students are able to keep their tablets and the use of the e-reading library, to encourage the further love for reading.
