The win was pleasing for co-coach Brad Cornwell: “We have had two gruelling games in the past couple of weeks.
“It has been good getting these tough games under out belts in readiness for the big games.
“If you win by forty or fifty, the score tells you little about the character of the side.
“The past two wins will give our side plenty of belief when the going gets tough.”
The semi final was an exciting and very hard hitting game and it took 22 minutes before Wang opened the scoring.
The Warriors received a penalty for a high tackle and Hayden Cornwell attempt at goal hit the cross bar and rebounded back in the field of play.
Josh Howarth scooped up the ball and then passed it to Aaron Joyce who went over for an opportunist try.
Hayden Cornwell converted for a 6-0 lead.
Five minutes later it was Howarth again with a good try which he converted for a 12-0 lead.
The Warriors were lookinig strong, but then a lapse of concentration saw Villages score ten minutes out from the break.
In the shadows of halftime, Villages crossed again with the two sides going in for halftime with the score standing at 12-10.
The Warriors knew they had a game on their hands and put the last ten minutes out of their minds.
Aaron Joyce scored early in the second half with Cornwell converting for a 18-10 game.
The Warriors' defence stepped up a notch to shut Villages out and the final scoring for the day came when the Warriors received a penalty that made the fulltime score 20-10.
Although pleased with the game, coaches Cornwell and Phil Howarth have worked hard on their discipline and emphasised that they will not be able to 'clock off' for periods when they play Blackheath this Saturday.
Man of the Match Sam Dellabosca was again strong while Jason Nunan, Nick Bender, Ian dray, Nathan Redding and Ben Beecroft also put in big games.
The defence of Kynan Murray, Trent Sutherland, Darren Monds and Aaron Manton played a big part in their teams' win.
Best wishes
The Warriors Club wish Wang under 10s all the best for this week's final at Mudgee.
