Last month’s meeting was a washout but with no less than nine featured racing categories at this meeting, most rounding up their club pointscores, the racing is assured to be fast and furious.
The action attraction of the Central West will be hosting more than 50 events for the tin top stock cars and the very fast open wheelers.
Five fabulous classes of open wheelers including the Grand Prix Midgets, Compact Speedcars, Modlites, Go Karts and the Microsprints will be contested on the slippery granite track.
And don’t forget the stock car stars contesting the seventh and final round of their Portland club championship over four heats — the unbelievably close racing RSA Street Stockers, Series Production,Fast Fours and the Juniors all racing for their yearly pointscore.
Driving stars from Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Bathurst, Orange, Canberra, Blayney,Oberon and Nowra will battle it out on the oval track.
Sponsors supporting the Cullen Bullen Raceway include Kings Auto Parts, Sita Environmental Solutions, McFadden Ice Supplies of Bathurst, Brackenrig Haulage of Lidsdale, Phil and Marg Downey’s Portland Newsagency, the Royal Hotel Cullen Bullen, Stone’s Pest and Weed Control, Coates Hire Wallerawang, Portland Automotive Services, Centennial Coal, Lithgow City Council and Atlantic Lubricants.
Full canteen facilities are always available so be ready for a full evening of inexpensive family entertainment this Sunday commencing at 10am at the Cullen Bullen Raceway situated just off the Castlereagh Highway.
As a condition of entry children must be supervised at all times.
