Orange CYMS players Moung Dut, Ethan Kennedy, Craig Tarr and Brock Campbell were all named in the backline that will play at Dubbo’s Caltex Park next month, with Bloomfield Tigers junior Will Christopherson named on the bench for the under 16s representative outfit.
The side will be captained by Bathurst Panthers five-eighth Adam Fearnley.
The Group 10 under 16s side wasn’t the only one confirmed yesterday, however, with the under 18s President’s XIII announced to take on Group 10, Group 11 and Castlereagh League rep outfits.
A composite side designed to give players on the fringe of selection with both Group 10 and Group 11 a shot at representative footy, the President’s XIII will see Orange CYMS flyer James Angus and Hawks forwards Jack Aumuller and Nathan Potts play for Western Rams jumpers in Dubbo.
The side will train at Manildra’s Jack Huxley Oval on Thursday, April 30, and features under 18s players from as far east as Lithgow right through to Parkes, Nyngan and Narromine on the western boarder of the Rams region.
The Group 10 under 18s side has an 18-man squad named and has been training since the end of March.
Defending premiers Hawks are heavily represented in the squad, with Jedd Kennedy, Brodie Christopherson, Jye Barrow, Hayd’n Baragry and Deryne McKenzie all in the team alongside CYMS stars Epa Navale, Ethan Bereyn and last year’s under 16s NSW Country representative Jack Bastick.
