ACROSS Greater Lithgow as elsewhere across the Bathurst electorate there was solid support for the sitting Nationals member Paul Toole in Saturday’s election.

It was always going to be a two horse race between the Nationals and Labor but while Labor improved their showing since the 2011 election the result was never in doubt.
The Greens also improved their vote but were never going to be a serious threat to the mainstream parties, particularly in a mining community.
So just how did we vote?
The booth by booth figures released by the Electoral Office up to 3pm yesterday told the story:
