"There has been a pleasing reduction in blue green algae in Lake Wallace”
Lithgow mayor Maree Statham said.
“The monitoring results are now at the lower end of the amber zone and the continued improvement means restrictions are now lifted with signs at the Lake being removed.
“Lake Lyell remains at amber level and Council is naturally keen to see the next round of results as we would not like to see an impact on popular recreational activities.
