THE crews from Springvale Colliery have dug deep to donate $1,000 to the Lithgow Hospital Movember fundraiser.

While staff at the hospital have been busy growing moustaches and fundraising for the cause they could not be happier about the donation.
Organiser from Lithgow Hospital, Mark Allan was humbled by the offering and grateful to all at Sprinvale.
“Thank you for your exceptional generosity,” Mr Allan said.
“With the raffles and fundraising that has taken place at the hospital along with Springvale's donation it means we will now donate close to $3000.”
Darrin Francis and Ben Smith from Springvale were the deliverers of the check and stated that Movember was certainly a well worthy cause to receive such funds.
“Movember is close to my heart,” Mr Francis said.
“My family has been touched by men's health issues and I am pleased to be the one to hand over this cheque.”
After the formalities and photo shoot it was on to drawing the lucky prize winners in the raffle and a chat over tea, coffee and cake.
