At Cooerwull School, a talent quest — Cooerwull’s Got Talent” — attracted a large entry of students who strutted their stuff before the judges Maria Snow, Ben Foster and principal Mark Snow who had the unenviable job of selecting the placegetters.
The large crowd got behind the participants making for a great atmosphere.
No doubt some of these youngsters will find their way onto ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ in the years to come.
“It was a fun event,” judge Mark Snow said.
“The contestants were full of energy and talent and it was a hard job to pick winners.
“The talent quest raised over $200 that will go towards the Year 6 fundraising.
“It was a lot of fun, even if us judges got booed at times.
“Hopefully there will be more to come in the future, as everyone enjoyed the entertainment.”
One of the highlights for both students and staff was when Principal Snow took to the stage with young Aleese Thompson and tried to join Aleese in doing the splits.
Thankfully everything ended well with no harm being done to the not so supple principal.
