Competitors came from the Sydney metropolitan area as well as the Mountains and Central West.
It was a highly successful meet for the Lithgow swimmers who received at least one medal, achieving some excellent results and many personal bests.
It was a good effort to receive a medal as most events were combined age groups or open events, making the results achieved by the Lithgow swimmers even more outstanding.
In an even more outstanding achievement three of the Lithgow swimmers (Joss Luka, Brody McManus and Mackenzie Stewart) were selected to compete in the 50m Free Dash for Cash.
The eight fastest swimmers in the 12 and under and 13 and over age groups were selected for the dash for cash based on the time they achieved in the individual 50m free event.
Unfortunately, the Lithgow swimmers finished just outside the money positions.
