Once again the competition has been well supported with 35 teams making up five divisions with seven teams in each division.
Fees must be paid and teams have to provide umpires. A draw has been made and players can view it on the Lithgow Touch Association’s website.
“Looking at the teams in the trials, it looks as if each division is going to be very competitive,” the Association’s Heidi Inwood said.
“All we need now is a bit of luck with the weather, something that we have had not much luck with in the past.
“Our junior afternoon has been a real success.
“We were overwhelmed with the numbers that have already turned out.
“Youngsters can come down of a Monday at 4.30pm and there will be coaches to help them into a side and show them the fundamentals of the game.
“There are some very good young players and judging by their skills and speed it will not be long before they make it into the senior divisions in the years to come.
