Elaine grew up in Carlingford and met Kevin while on holiday in Lithgow in October 1962.
The couple had a wonderful dinner at the Lithgow Workmens Club and were engaged by Christmas in 1963.
Elaine and Kevin were married at St Johns Church of Parramatta on October 17 1964.
Elaine moved to Lithgow where they have spent their married life, with Kevin working at the Wallerawang Power Station up until his retirement.
He now enjoys spending his time with family and friends, holidaying and working in the garden.
Elaine worked in Aged Care until retirement and is still a member of the Lithgow Garden Club and the Red Cross organisation.
Kevin and Elaine have three children and five grandchildren — Lachlan, Dean, Max, Zac and Joss — who they love to spend their time with.
Congratulations are extended from family and friends who wished Kevin and Elaine a happy anniversary.
