Each year, the association has been plagued by the weather and hopefully from now on it will be plain sailing with players enjoying summer-like conditions.
The massive touch day organised by the NSW Touch Association for local schools was huge with over 120 youngsters attending and enjoying the day.
It was amazing to see the skills of these youngsters, both girls and boys, and all reported they enjoyed the game of touch.
This Monday sees the start of the junior competition with youngsters invited to turn up and enjoy the game of touch.
Players are placed into sides for the afternoon and taught the rules and skills by coaches.
It is a fun afternoon and the perfect way to get your child into touch with no pressure on winning or losing … just to have fun.
Games start around 4.30 on Monday where you will be made welcome.
