This project accounts for 60 per cent of their overall marks in that subject.
This year students attempted two areas of study and they produced projects in both the Timber and Automotive strands.
This is only the second year Lithgow High School has offered Automotive for the HSC.
The examiners from Board of Studies visited Lithgow High school and spent several hours closely scrutinising both the projects and the folios which must accompany each project.
Each project represents over four school terms’ worth of work.
Students can now look forward to their formal HSC exams, which start early in Term 4.
