After appearing before a criminal court jury in Sydney charges of arson and fraud were dismissed against the owner of the former Mt Lambie service station.

The service station and roadhouse were destroyed in a late night fire in May 2012.
The proprietor Arie Spek claimed he had been bashed and robbed by thieves who set fire to the premises and he was subsequently charged in relation to arson and insurance fraud after a four day operation, the jury at the Downing Center Court on Thursday acquitted Spek of all charges.
