Saturday was the first weekend day the event was held and it proved to be the busiest first day to date.
Hundreds of people took the opportunity to stroll through gardens and enjoy all on offer.
Sunday was not much different as visitors enjoyed music and friendly hospitality among the daffodils.
Mouth watering aromas wafted through the air as the barbecues sizzled away and many took advantage of setting out a picnic blanket on the manicured lawns of the town and gardens.
Each year the event gets bigger, to the delight of the Rydal Village Association, who work tirelessly to put on such a display of colour as the area awakens from the bitter winter’s chill.
And all this to raise money for local charities.
It’s not over yet if you missed out last weekend.
The gardens will be open again on September 20 and 21 from 10am.
A definite must if fine food, music, relaxation and beauty is your thing.
