This week's pets of the week at Rocko the Rotweiler and a lovely female moggy.

Rocko is 4-years-old and full of energy ready to meet his new owner and have some fun.

Both animals have been micro-chipped and vaccinated.

To view them and other animals that need a new home head to the council's shelter in Geordie Street (at the entrance to the garbage tip road) from 3pm weekdays or by appointment.
