Both teams enjoyed playing each other in what was an evenly matched game.
Best in attack was Jai McMillan and Cody Phillips both scoring three tries each and Lachlan Nunan and Bryce Carter one each.
Savannah Green had one of her best games and ran with confidence. Curtis Brown's defence is improving along with Bryce Carter who is pulling off superb tackles, saving many tries. Mitchell Lane's is more confident in attack and lending a hand in defence.
Under 8:
The players continue to improve each week under the guidance of coaches Barry Jackson and Shane Green and are combining well as a team.
Tries this week were scored by Nate Green (2) and Deklin Unsworth.
All team members shared the running and tackling with Joel Lamb, Logan Ward, Riley Muldoon, Oliver Taylor and Tiger Dunn topping the tackling count.
New comers to Rugby League for the 2014 Thomas Seton and Tyron Griffiths continue to improve and are enjoying the game.
Preston Case is giving his best and is growing in confidence and ability.
Under 9:
Following a three week break the boys were keen to get back on the bigger field and show their skills.
The decision to move to mod rules has proved positive for both Wang and Storm with some good Rugby League being played by both teams.
The match was one of Warriors best with all players putting in 100 per cent.
Bailey Brown again demonstrated his strength pushing through defensive lines with great support by his team mates in the completion of sets.
Bailey scored all three tries of the match.
Goals were successfully kicked by Bailey Brown, Connor McCann and Wil Stockton with Wil’s defensive game outstanding.
Ben McCulkin, Connor McCann and Jaiden Healey ran the ball with purpose with Jackson Piggott having his best game of the season.
Byron Lamborn and Braith Green had great all round games in both running the ball and defensive play and Saezar Scanlan showed his determination and speed running almost the full length of the field in what was the best tackle of the game.
