The concert will take place in the Conservatorium building, “Sunnybank”, in Wyld St, just near the swimming pool.
The building offers wonderful acoustics which have been commented upon by many visiting artists.
During the concert, audience members will be entertained by a number of very talented students presenting items on a variety of musical instruments including piano, violin, and orchestral xylophone.
2014 scholarship winners who will be performing include Veronica Wessell and Joshua Mason (violin), Patrick Woodrow, Marni Brown and Adrian Ma (piano), and Callum Woodrow (orchestral percussion).
In addition there will be performances from the encouragement award winners – Serena Ma and Monique Rust (violin) and Miller Mendham (drums).
Following the concert the 2014 scholarship recipients will be presented with their certificates and light refreshments will be served.
This promises to be a wonderful afternoon of musical entertainment.
Entry is by dollar note donation.
