Hundreds of young hopeful were out in force over the two days to contest the NSW Country Championships.
Lithgow’s Mikkayla Jersovs and Clare Bosman had some stiff opposition from the state’s best gymnasts in the Level Four Senior division.
The girls performed extremely well with Mikkayla finishing fourth in the vault and was placed 10th overall.
Clare, who had limited preparation this year, worked tirelessly throughout her performance finishing sixth on the balance beam and was placed 13th overall.
Ebony Pender contested level Two Juniors and Chyna Lothian performed in Level Two Intermediate on day two.
Both girls tried hard and it was a good learning experience for the young gymnasts.
Thanks to all the gymnasts, their families and friends for offering their support to the girls over what was a good weekend.
Persons interested in gymnastics, can come along to the Lithgow PCYC or call the PCYC on 6351 2510.
