THE staff and students of Wallerawang Public School were proud to showcase their talents to the parents, grandparents and community members who attended the Education Week celebrations.
As part of the celebrations, students were recognised and awarded for their achievements and members of the school community were also acknowledged for their voluntary contributions to Wallerawang Public School.
The audience was entertained by the students as each stage group presented an item and a special solo performance was given by Bridget Cama after presenting awards to children nominated for the Nangai Mai Awards.
To showcase the student’s achievements and the great things happening at Wallerawang Public School, the students proudly shared their fabulous work and classrooms with visitors before concluding the celebrations with a morning tea enjoyed by all of those in attendance.
The staff and students of Wallerawang Public School thank all of those involved in making the celebrations a success and for supporting public education.
Parents and carers of children enrolling for Kindergarten 2013 are invited to attend an information night on Wednesday at 7pm and an orientation morning for the children will be held on Wednesday August 29 commencing at 10am.
