New starters Judy Fegebank, Kay Adams and Sue Metcalf played lead second and third and have improved with every game.
The team is skipped by Ruth Harries, whose experience and leadership has been invaluable to the success of the team.
Likewise Judy Kennedy added her expertise to lead the team to an earlier win .
Workies won the title with a victory in their final game against Lithgow City with a thrilling finish to win by one shot after being down by 12 shots with three ends to go.
The team has had some great wins during the competition defeating Lithgow City, Oberon and Majellan.
The team has been managed by Julie Beggs who is moving to the Central Coast and the club wishes her the best of health and happiness in her new venture.
The popular Julie has been a hard worker for the club and has held a number of executive positions and she will be missed.
