The results from round two are as follows:
Hot Shot def Landsdowne Jays 1-0
Sam Bannerman was the hero scoring the winning goal in what was a close match.
Jays took the field short in numbers but playing a determined game.
Lyndall Marshall, Alison and Karen Luka returned to the game and showed they had lost none of their skills.
Jays had numerous shots at goals but were unable to hit the back board.
Maggie O'Bree played a fantastic game in goals Zig Zag Black def Zig Zag Red 4-3
Excellent game by both Ziggies teams who played a fast paced game showing good skills with Ziggies Black coming from behind to snatch a win.
Lashay Chew and Sam Dean stood out for Zig Zag Black while Alice Reti-Steel was a key player for Zig Zag Red, who kept the pressure on Blacks the whole game.
Scorers for Zig Zag Black were Kim Northey, Ngaire Unsworth (2) and Alanah Lemcke.
For the Reds, Nat McCarten, Sarah Burton and Jade Boyden were the scorers. Zig Zag White won on a forfeit against Workmens Club Blue Zig Zag Blue def Cruizers 7-2
Newcomer Liza Mason was outstanding in the forward line scoring an impressive three goals for Blues was was supported by Nicole McFadden and Kym Wilson.
For Cruizers, Kloe Mannering and Rene Anthes had an awesome game making some good breaks and was unlucky not to score.
Helen Williams back on the field after many years showed some great speed and skills while Judy Pettitt slotted home a great goal.
Scorers for Zig Zag Blue were Liza Mason (3), Kym Wilson (2) and Nicole McFadden (2).
For Cruizers, Kloe Mannering and Judy Pettitt scored.
There will be no Women's B grade Hockey for the next two weekends due to Easter and Anzac Day holidays.
