The Lithgow District Forum team is understandably but incorrectly being criticised for having council election dodgers printed outside Lithgow.
The criticism is absolutely wrong.
All paid printing for the Forum team is being commissioned through C and W Printing in Lithgow.
As was highlighted in a letter to the Mercury earlier this week some coloured handbills carried the imprimatur of a firm in Katoomba.
Those handbills were in fact run off on Barry Funnell’s personal equipment on his property at Hartley.
This followed a scan of a large team sign which was in fact created in Katoomba for our office in Main Street, Lithgow and had the name of that firm at the bottom.
We had initially contacted Lithgow’s only known signwriter to have that job done but he informed us he has now retired and sold his equipment.
No one is more supportive of Greater Lithgow business than the Lithgow District Forum and that
will not change.
I trust this removes the misconceptions, understandable as they were.
