As usual it was held at the Lithgow Hotel, the club’s major sponsor for over 20 years.
The 2013 season has been one of a first for many reasons: The men’s B grade won back to back titles and a women’s side competing under the Hotshots name for the first time in over 10 years overcame many obstacles to win the C grade title in their debut year.
The women did a very good job of decorating the bistro area of the pub with Hotshots paraphernalia and some photos taken throughout the year.
It was a most successful year all round for the Hotshots Hockey Club both on and off the field, and socially there were a few functions held at the Lithgow Hotel as thank you for Brett and Cassandra’s continued ongoing sponsorship.
Thank you also goes to Jeff Geddes of the Lithgow Mercury for their continued reporting of hockey and also to Radio 90 for airing hockey.
A framed photo was presented to Brett Holyoake and Cassandra Stanley as a thank you for their valued sponsorship.
There were three photos in the frame one each of both the women’s and men’s premiership winning teams, and the other a combined photo of both teams together which was brilliantly put together by ‘Hotshotter’ John Legge.
