IT has been a busy month for Lithgow VIEW with 77 members enjoying their regular lunch meeting at the Lithgow Workmens Club as well as 35 members celebrating Yulefest luncheon at the Carrington Hotel at Katoomba.
Special guest at the lunch meeting was Gloria Walsh, visiting from Perth.
Gloria is Margaret Lovett’s daughter and sister to Joan Anderson.
A warm welcome and friendship was extended to new members Ann Rohrich, Shirley Merrick, Hope Holley and Judy Lynch.
President Raelein Woodbury presented Marika Connelly with her 10 years of membership badge.
Guest speakers and presenters were Kevin and Maree from Lithgow Mobility who gave a great display and information about the aids they have available for people with mobility and other medical conditions.
June Vlores presented them with a thank you gift on behalf of members.
It was then the turn of 35 members to travel to the Carrington Hotel Katoomba to celebrate Yulefest.
It was an enjoyable relaxing day with a scrumptious meal, friendship and singalong.
A big thanks to Belinda for arranging another successful day for all.
