WE note that moves are under way in certain quarters seeking to ban pigdogging in NSW.
The activity gained quite a deal of notoriety after an ABC TV documentary last week highlighting the cruelty aspects of the blood sport in both NSW and Queensland.
Pigdoggers claim they’re providing a service by helping eliminate feral pigs.
Critics say it’s an inhumane practice and there are better ways of feral control.
