NOT all sportspersons had their feet up during the school holidays.
The Lithgow Storm under 10 rugby league side travelled to Mudgee and really enjoyed the carnival.
It was a busy day with the boys playing three games and finished with a record of two wins and a narrow loss.
“The boys had a great time,” coach Anthony ‘Bones’ Brown said.
“They played some excellent rugby league and have shown a vast improvement since the start of the season.
“We are currently battling to get into the semi finals and if they continue to improve it is not out of the question.
“We have a good balance of players and our teamwork is improving.
“The main thing is that all the boys are enjoying their footy and look forward to each Saturday.”
