THE 2012 Kanga Cup has 226 football teams (more than 3600 participants) from all over Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Korea and the Philippines and to be involved in this massive tournament is a real feather in the representatives caps.
Selected to represent Western NSW are Lithgow’s Dylan Barrow and Mitchell Beltran (under 11) and Adam Gilmore and Ashton Arnott Webb (both under 12).
The tournament started off with an impressive opening ceremony on Sunday night at Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra followed by a week packed full of soccer action throughout Canberra.
The four Lithgow boys were outstanding for their respective teams and their coaches predict they have big futures ahead of them.
The boys took a lot out of the Kanga Cup as they were playing against the cream of football players in the state and will be all the better for attending.
