SODWALLS resident Lyn Fowler has been announced as the latest in an ever growing field of candidates for the coming Lithgow City Council elections.
Mrs Fowler will be part of a team headed by sitting councillors Martin Ticehurst and Joe McGinnes.
Cr Ticehurst announced his recruit yesterday and said she will have third place on his team ticket behind himself and Cr McGinnes.
He expects to field a team of six strong candidates.
Mrs Fowler has been a landholder at Sodwalls for more than 30 years since she and her husband purchased and restored an historic inn and is a qualified solicitor.
She is a life member of the RSPCA and a member of the National Trust and the WIRES animal rescue organisation.
Nominations for the September 8 election close on August 8.
