12.15pm: RFS firefighters are currently working on containment in Clarence, Dargan. Bell, Mt Wislon and Bilpin areas.
The State Mine fire has burnt 25,000 hectares of land and three property losses have been confirmed.RFS have building impact teams on the scene.
Still over 100 firefighters and 30 centre command personell are committed to ground fire control however due to low visibility aircraft have been grounded until conditions improve.
Police have contacted the Mercury to advise Dargan and Clarence residents who chose to stay with their properties to remain at home.Anyone seen driving around in this vicinity will be excluded from the area.
RFS have confirmed the State Mine fire will not be extinguished unless significant rain falls in the region and property owners are to remain vigilant.
If community members see flames and no firefighting vehicle on the scene call 000 and report the address.

11.15am: Clarence, Dargan, Newnes Junction, Bell, Mt Wilson and Mt Irvine have been worst hits by the State Mine fire with power outages and a number of property losses reported.
The Bells Line of Road remains closed.
Fire brigades units have returned to a flare up in the State Mine Gully while water carrying aircraft return to the air.
The State Mine Gully Road has been closed to traffic.
8am: The Bells Line of Road and Daarling Causeway
remains closed as the State Mine fire now burns either side of Mt Irvine Road towards Bilpin.
Over 24,000 hectares has been burnt since the fire started on Wednesday with some properties destroyed at Lithgow, Clarence and Mt Victoria.
Currently there is a 140km edge on the fire however conditions have improved and RFS have scaled down to a Watch and Act scenario.
