THE A-grade women tennis players enjoyed an evening of fine food and fun at their end of competition dinner at CJ’s restaurant.
The presentation culminated a competition that was punctuated with wash-outs due to the continued inclement weather that frequented the area.
When the players could get onto the courts, there were some exciting clashes with all of the sides playing some good tennis.
At the presentations, winners Sluggers were honoured as were the runners-up Slammers.
The winning side consisted of captain Rhonda Thompson, Kristy Northey, Julie Grant and Debbie Williams.
There was no grand final due to a forfeit by Slammers however Sluggers had been unbeatable up until this point.
Sluggers went into the final with a lead of 19 points over the closest their closest rival Aces and were clearly the best side over the competition.
