THE COMPANY gearing up to mine gold near Tomingley has rejected that its workforce will fly in and out.
Alkane Resources managing director Ian Chalmers has reaffirmed that it is seeking to employ people in Dubbo and district.
About 250 jobs would be offered in the yet-to-be-approved project's construction phase, and 100 full-time jobs when it moved to production.
This week the company told the Australian Securities Exchange that it was still waiting for a green light for the Tomingley Gold Project (TGP), south-west of Dubbo.
In a Company Insight interview, Alkane put the wait down to "a lack of the available resources required within the various NSW government departments".
