A PERSON has been killed after an accident on the Bells Line of Road yesterday.
The truck was carrying a load of sand when the accident occured around 12.30pm.
Emergency services closed both lanes of the road near Mount Tomah after the semi-trailer rolled, spilling it’s load across the road.
Traffic is being diverted around the scene via the Great Western Highway and police are asking travellers to avoid the area.
Police have not yet released any information about the possible cause of the incident or details of the deceased.
