THREE under 12 Lithgow basketballers have been invited to participate in the NSW Country Mini Basketball Jamboree to be held in Port Macquarie in September.
The jamboree will be held over four days and also a two day camp in July at Bathurst.
Invited were Austyn Lincoln, Fletcher Swift and Hayden Wittingslow who all play for the under 12 Lazers and also in the local competition on Thursdays nights, having been playing in the play-offs (see above).
The boys are all excited to be able to attend.
To be selected the boys participated in a development day at Bathurst with players from all around the western area, while Gosford, Newcastle, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, Moss Vale, Albury, Grafton and Illawarra hosted simular days.
From these one day camps 72 boys where identified and invited to participate in the jamboree.
The boys are the sons of Trevor and Jenny Wittingslow, Natalie and David Lincoln and David and Julia Swift.
