Parkes Chamber of Commerce conducted its monthly chamber meeting at the Coachman Hotel where guest speaker was Northparkes Mines representative Clay Collins.
Mr Collins gave a brief talk on supply to the mines.
He told those present that if businesses believed they could supply the mine of products and services "in any shape or form" then that business should approach him or NPM purchasing department for further information,
Andrew Garratt from NPM also gave his monthly report.
He said that the new Mine Manager Stefanie Loader was settling in nicely and fitting into her busy schedule with ease.
Planning for the next NPM Open Day is also in the planning stage.
